Health & Safety
Southern Hospitality is committed to the development of a healthy and safe working environment for our workers, and others that may be affected by our activities. Appropriate resources will be allocated to ensure that the best available Health and Safety management systems are established, maintained, and regularly reviewed for continuous improvement.
We will:
- Ensure effective Health and Safety governance processes are in place to maintain oversight of Health and Safety.
- Implement our Health and Safety management system.
- Manage hazards and associated risks in our workplace to prevent harm to others.
- Provide information, training and supervision to employees and other workers so that they are competent to perform their jobs safely.
- Integrate Health and Safety into our day-to-day practices.
- Ensure incidents are accurately reported and investigated to prevent reoccurrence.
- Engage with our employees and other workers in Health and Safety matters.
- Seek assurance that our contractor’s systems and activities are ensuring the safety of our people, their own employees, sub-contractors, and members of the public.
- Ensure all Health and Safety legislative requirements are complied with.
Quality Assurance
Southern Hospitality is committed to demonstrating and exhibiting industry best practices in quality assurance. We utilise the latest technology and software to enable us to track and manage quality assurance from design through manufacturing and onto site for installation. Our teams pride themselves on their ability to coordinate their site activities with the wider community of trades required to complete the project.
We believe that quality work is the responsibility of every individual performing the work. Quality is obtained through appropriate planning and control of project-specific documents and by specific quality control activities such as reviewing, checking, testing and quality assurance.
Southern Hospitality’s obligations relate to the Quality Assurance of manufactured items and the Quality Assurance of the correct installation, commissioning, training, and ongoing maintenance support of the kitchen equipment items.
